Metal
I find immense satisfaction from my craft and also in teaching it to others. I am experienced in running workshops in schools and with Community Groups, many of the projects I run result in the installation of a permanent artwork.
I run workshops for children and adults of all ages, in a variety of environments. These involve how to use creative processes to produce original pieces of art as well as the use of various tools.
All my school projects are designed to be cross-curricular, and can be directly linked with current key stage learning.
These galleries show a selection of work produced at some of these workshops, from small sculptures suitable for display to larger pieces which are the combination of many participants work which have been permanently installed in school grounds or community buildings.
Metal Workshops
Participants can learn skills such as metal manipulation, cutting and welding. The amount of supervision given will depend on the age and ability of the student, but even primary students can experience tools and processes not usually encountered until college level.
