Philip Melling   Sculpture, Art and Design 

I usually help young people in schools or youth clubs create designs that reflect positive themes or local history. They can then be shown how to paint on a large scale, and I will ensure the painting is finished to a professional standard. These colourful murals have transformed run down and vandalised public spaces and brought to life internal areas, such as a foyers and corridors.

These projects have proven extremely successful in stopping further graffiti or vandalism. They have created community cohesion while at the same time reducing maintenance costs for public buildings.
