Working predominantly in metals, I create an eclectic range of sculpture and contemporary furniture.
Highly aesthetic in nature, you will find much of my work curvaceous and tactile. There is often a coarseness that comes from working with bare metals, but also the variety that comes from experimenting with surface texture and finishes.
My style ranges from figurative to abstract, but I would describe the majority of my sculptures as 'abstract representational'. Much of my work endeavors to capture movement, with a desire to create forms that are also presented aesthetically through the negative spaces they create.
My smaller sculptures are designed for display in the home, office or garden. Larger artworks are created for public installations or corporate environments.
I have been working on commissions and my own sculpture collections since 2003, which have included artworks made from steel, stainless steel, copper and bronze - some of which have included elements of resin and wood.
